Yeas ago there was a craze people trying to go over Niagara Falls in barrels,?

Did anyone ever do it and survive?



Yes,several. One was a female teacher who took her cat with her-both the woman and cat survived. More recently two people have gone over the horseshoe falls without barrels and survived, and a boy in the 60's went over after a boat accident and survived. It would be hard to make it to the falls with a barrel now, it's illegal to try to do that.




I have heard of several people who have made the jump and survived, there was a recent incident about a month ago in which a bubble head jumped and survived the fall, the man was rescued by helicopter and taken to a hospital in Buffalo, NY unconsious with hypothermia and several broken bones. I would have picked truth instead of dare.
