Should we revert to violence to defend the animals being skinned alive in china?

Holocaust material. It's been years since the videos of animals suffering to the max came about. Dogs and cats been thrown around and beaten in cages and then they are only lucky if they die before being entirely skinned. Other ghastly ways of killing them are still happening. No laws against yet despite protest and donations.



I do think we could try harder, but you must remember it's in China...they pretty much do what they want if you haven't noticed.





Either way, for you to say we should hurt people to show people that hurting animals is bad, it's complete hypocrisy.





Although I do agree, it's a bunch of BS what they do to those animals. I saw a video of one guy just walk on a dogs head for no reason, he stepped on it then just walked away. They have to resort to a puny, defenseless animal to feel all mighty, idiotic.





Cultural purposes are different, but to savagely beat them and torture them, then rip their skin off while they're still alive, and not kill them after they're skinned and in severe pain is absolutely absurd.





I'm a big fan of do what people do to others...big fan.


I mean come on, yeah "terrorism" if you will, will serve no actual "purpose" but to let them know what it's like and let them know what they've been doing to another human/animal.


I'm not suggesting do it to every single person who screws up, but to the severe extremes like this, something needs to be done to those people. Not killing them or anything, but maybe ripping their penis or big toe off or something...haha.





But realistically thinking, resorting to violence is plain stupid. I'm not a fan of violence really but it should be stopped and every person who partakes in it should be punished.





PETA is pretty ridiculous though, I think that entire organization should be shut down. It's all crazy people who go way too far to protect an animal. They're all against keeping animals in cages, yet I'm sure they all have a pet or two, and whether you like it or not, a dog in a backyard is still in a cage...





I dunno, I think it should be stopped, but I'm not about to piss China off, no thank you.




And who do you think you are? You must be some impressionable kid or an adult who brain has gone all mushy. Thankfully the ALF in the UK has been proscribed a terrorist organization for using violence against humans to 'protect' animals. The UK government should have been tougher. In other places they would have been shot as a just dessert.




Using violence to defend animals? that helps nobody the people you fight against are the people who wear the furs and trade in them. I think its digusting to kill an animal just for its skin to look fashionable. At least every part of a cow and pig gets used. What i find truly disgusting are people like PETA, and the ALF who use terrorism to save the life of what? a rat in a cage!




You know I just don't understand this mentality, Don't worry about murder and rapes in Darfur, 11 year old kids being tied to vehicles as protection in Gaza, or the people being brutalised in Zimbabwe. That doesn't matter





But touch a fairy little chick and god help you from the wrath of the animal liberators!





I don't condone animal cruelty, but that's what happens in these countries, its happened for thousands of years and just because you feel a bit squeamish isn't going to stop it.





I can just imagine you trying to talk a Lion into vegetarianism as it stalks a Zebra.





Yes its wrong, but I am sorry, there is much more in this world that is worse.




Yeah! Let's use violent tactics to "punish" a nation because they do things we don't like. Hmmmm. That sounds familiar. Didn't somebody do that to us back in 2001? What some cultures do to animals is sickening, but what you and several of the other posters are proposing is nothing short of terrorism. I understand what you are saying, but rhetoric like this is dangerous.




It's not China but Thailand where puppies are killed and eaten, and the meat considered extra tasty if the animals suffer before being slaughtered.


Let us remember there is that about our own culture which others find repugnant. And then remember the saying about those who live in glass houses...

Let the people who torture another living being be tortured in the same way.





It's only justice. There is absolutely no reason why an animal must be tortured before dying or be skinned alive. Cultural differences don't validate those actions.

Edit: Just because something has been happening for thousands of years doesn't mean it should continue to be tolerated. Rape, murder, brutality and torture of humans has been happening for thousands of years but that doesn't mean it's ok. People need to stop looking the other way and trying to justify their ignorance with the difference of cultures. There are some things we as humans should allow and some things we shouldn't....the torture of animals or any living being is something we shouldn't.
